The firework display went well and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. There will be food and music as well as the traditional fireworks.<br /><br />We would be very grateful for donations of fireworks to make the event as spectacular as possible.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"> * * * * *</div><br />The Plough will be holding a couple of side-by-side events to raise money for the <span style="font-weight: bold;">BBC Children in Need</span> appeal.<br /><br />On 16th November 2007 we will hold a charity auction (like the traditional harvest festival one we usually have) for the Children in Need cause. Donations of produce etc for auction lots will be very welcome. We'd also be grateful for a good turnout for the auction itself!<br /><br />The same evening will include our <span style="font-weight: bold;">Baby Pic ID Parade</span>. Please supply photos of local people for the competition. Baby or childhood pics are perfect, but at a pinch any pic where the identity of the subject presents a bit of a puzzle will do! Photos will be returned, and it is free to enter your pictures.<br /><br />The competition will involve trying to identify as many of the suspects as possible. Mary and Colin have brought it back to life, and tickets are available from the bar now.<br /><br />The winning tickets are drawn by a volunteer customer every Sunday, usually around 4pm.
