The Plough Fireworks party this year will be on Saturday 3rd November. There will be food and music as well as the traditional fireworks.We would be very grateful for donations of fireworks to make the event as spectacular as possible.

The Plough will be holding a couple of side-by-side events to raise money for the BBC Children in Need appeal.
On 16th November 2007 we will hold a charity auction (like the traditional harvest festival one we usually have) for the Children in Need cause. Donations of produce etc for auction lots will be very welcome. We'd also be grateful for a good turnout for the auction itself!
The same evening will include our Baby Pic ID Parade. Please supply photos of local people for the competition. Baby or childhood pics are perfect, but at a pinch any pic where the identity of the subject presents a bit of a puzzle will do! Photos will be returned, and it is free to enter your pictures.
The competition will involve trying to identify as many of the suspects as possible. Entry for guessing will cost £1, and there will be prizes for those who correctly ID the most subjects from the line-up.
